Backflow Assembly Tester Training

 

The Backflow Prevention Tester Training program, is a 40-hour course designed to train students in the techniques for testing all gauge testable backflow assemblies. The class will include lecture, demonstration and practice testing on pressure vacuum breakers, double check valves, and the reduced pressure principle backflow prevention assemblies. Students will receive checklists, classroom instruction, opportunities to practice testing skills, and upon successfully completing the course, a certificate of completion.  Students may bring their own test gauges or may use those provided.

The 40 hour program utilizes information from the University of Southern California's Foundation for Cross Connection Control and Hydraulic Research Manual of Cross Connection Control, ABPA Need to Know Criteria, Appropriate Plumbing Codes and regulations.

 

REGISTRATION FEE

$700.00

 

 

CCENV recognizes ABPA Certification which is recognized nationally and by ADEQ. Students who complete the 40 hour training will be given the opportunity to apply to take the the ABPA Certification exam for an additional $165.

The Practical part of the exam will be administered on Saturdays

REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Each student must complet a registration form. A space will be reserved only after payment for that class has been received. Payment may be made by cash, check, money order, purchase order, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, mail, telephone or fax. Because class size is limited, no refund will be issued to a student who does not attend class and does not cancel the registration 3 weeks prior to start date. Students who desire to or request to reschedule their class are not entitled to a refund, once the request has been granted. In the event Cross Connection Environmental cancels a class, all students will be given the option to attend at a rescheduled date or receive a full refund. All returned checks are subject to a $40.00 returned check fee.
